Here to help, close to home
The Fifty Fund is a long-standing charitable trust, originally founded in 1939 and merged with other local trust funds in 2005.
Our mission is to provide financial support and practical assistance to residents of Nottinghamshire who are experiencing poverty, hardship, or distress.
We offer relief primarily through charity grants or by funding essential goods and services. All applications are carefully assessed in line with UK charity law and Charity Commission guidance, with a focus on the applicant’s financial situation.
Our trustees consider both poverty and hardship, recognising that these are related but distinct conditions, when making decisions. All decisions of the trustees are final.
Through our work, The Fifty Fund continues to provide vital help to Nottinghamshire individuals and families in need, ensuring they receive the support they require during difficult times.
Our focus is simple: provide meaningful help, treat people with dignity, and respond with compassion. Whether it’s someone facing a sudden setback or a longer-term struggle, we’re here to listen, and to help.
Always here to help
Sometimes a small bit of help can make a big difference. If you know someone who’s struggling, let us know.
The support we offer is quiet but meaningful,
and for many, it arrives just when it’s needed most.
